Josh
Daley from Wigan is already eagerly preparing for his Isle of Man TT debut in
less than a month and was therefore not pushing too hard in the mixed conditions
at Oulton Park. He was 21st in race one and had a much better run in
race two on Monday and finished in 13th.
Josh
is ensuring he gets plenty of lap time in on his bike before heading to the Isle
of Man but he was very much looking forward to racing in the Dickies British
Supersport round at Oulton Park this weekend.
In
conditions that normally suit Josh he was keen to get some good results but he
did not plan to set the world on fire. He was steady during the practice
sessions but had a good qualifying session and ended up in 15th place
for the opening race on Sunday. He struggled off the start and did lose several
places; he continued making consistent lap times but finished in 21st
position.
For
race two Josh started from 20th position for race two on Monday. Josh
gained a place on the opening lap and was up to 19th, he had to dig
deep and work hard to get through the pack. He was setting some good times
during the race and was moving up through the pack into a points scoring
position. After 10 and a half laps the race was red flagged due to heavy rain
and Josh finished in a very respectable 13th place.

- "It was a good weekend at Oulton Park for me. It was a big mixture of wet and
dry weather and I'm happy to have topped the weekend off finishing in
13th place in race two. I would like to say a big thanks to the huge
support I get at my local round and to all my loyal sponsors for their continue
support.
Thank
you to everyone in the team especially my Dad for all their help and support as
always. Next stop for me - Isle of Man TT!"
