"Today‘s first practice was very difficult because the track was very dirty. We are pretty far from the usual lap times but we will try to improve the setting and analyse the situation. We will work on the settings because for sure the Michelin tyres behave differently compared to last year. We will work on the bike and at the same time we hope the track conditions improve starting from this afternoon."

| "Today it was same as last year: lap times in today‘s FP1 are same as FP1 in 2015, very slow due to the track conditions. The only difference is that last year I finished in 20th position and today a little higher in the standings but it is not so relevant. We can‘t say much after this session because the lap times are very much influenced by the weather and the tyres. I think this afternoon, with a track a bit more clean, things will be different". | |
