It would have been a memorable comeback for
Niccolò Antonelli. Started from the thirtieth position on the grid, Nicco rode
his bike as a fury by recovering lots of positions. He was fighting for the
fifth position when he crashed out, 2 laps to the end, by putting an end to a
top-notch race. All that remains is regret for not having obtained more from the
qualifying yesterday. The rider n. 23 would have been a great protagonist in the
race, considering the times he was recording.
"Today I pushed until the end,
but probably I passed on a dip on the track and I crashed. It's a shame as we
had a fast pace and we could do well. We come back home with a bitter taste in
the mouth, anyway the championship is long, there are still lots of races and we
are fast. We'll do better at Jerez".
