At Termas de Rio Hondo Stefano
Valtulini (28th) and Lorenzo Petrarca (31st) have to face more difficulties than
expected in a race characterised by mixed wet and dry
conditions.

A surrealistic race in Moto3 World
Championship at Termas de Rio Hondo (Argentina) didn't give satisfaction to 3570
Team Italia. In the big day of Khairul Idham Pawi (Honda), unexpected winner
with a big gap from his direct chasers, Stefano Valtulini (28th) and Lorenzo
Petrarca (31st) faced more problematics than expected, due to the adaptation to
the mixed wet and dry conditions of the asphalt.
After they lined up on the grid with slick tyres, the two riders of 3570 Team Italia lived a negative race, with the final result not in line with their expectations and the team. After the weekend in Argentina, they are already thinking about the next round of World Championship, in few days at the Circuit of the Americas of Austin (USA)

"A race to be forgotten. In
these conditions I was confident to do my best, but honestly I struggled more
than expected with the wet asphalt. I am sorry for this performance, it will be
useful as experience to improve from now on.".
Lorenzo Petrarca (3570 Team Italia - Mahindra MGP3O #77) 31st

"I struggled to adapt at these
mixed conditions of the asphalt and this is the result. I am sorry and
disappointed for the team because of this performance: after the practice and
the feeling I had with the bike, I expected to do better. I start from this
difficult day, in order to improve in the next
races.".
Emanuele Ventura (3570 Team Italia - Team Manager)
"We expected something more from both our riders. In these particular weather conditions, we were confident to play our cards right, but today Stefano and Lorenzo lived a difficult race. The final result is the consequence of some troubles to find the right pace and to understand the track conditions. We leave this race behind and we will keep on working for the next Grand Prix scheduled in few days in Texas.".
