RW
Racing GP has concluded a first test at Valencia with satisfaction. The team and
its rider Livio Loi were able to do a lot of work with the new Honda NSF250RW to
be well prepared for the start of the 2016 season.
“We
had much work to do,” said Livio Loi. “The first day we spent most of the time
getting the setup and the position right. Rain interrupted the test, but we did
get some reasonable laps under our belt. Today we started from scratch in trying
different setups and see what happened if we changed things.”

In
doing so Loi experienced a small crash in turn 2 of the Ricardo Tormo circuit,
but the Belgian was back on the bike within half an hour. “It was really
nothing, so we were able to move on quickly. After that I could set some quite
good lap times of around 1.40,3. We’ve done a good job, I think. The feeling is
good and we’re satisfied with this test.”
The
team will now take the bike back to the workshop in the Netherlands to finish
the preparations. The next outing will be the IRTA test in the first week of
March in Jerez.
