TEAM PEDERCINI AND SYLVAIN BARRIER TOGETHER FOR SBK SEASON

New ambitions for Team managed by Lucio Pedercini
PEDERCINI RACING TEAM is preparing for the 2016 World Superbike season
with a strong determination and professionalism, and the contract signed by
LUCIO PEDERCINI and SYLVAIN BARRIER is the proof that the objectives for
the championship are very ambitious.
The team has recently moved its headquarters to a new location in the province
of Venice. This site will host the two KAWASAKI Ninja ZX-10R which
have official support from Showa. These changes, which are signals of an entirely
new project, are strongly pursued by Lucio and his staff, and are aimed
to achieve results which can be worthy of consideration by the manufacturer.
“This project is aimed at the evolution of the team from the point of view of both organizational
management and technical standpoint, with particular reference to
electronics” says PEDERCINI, and explains: “we want to become in a short time a
solid reference point for pilots who want to be top riders in superbike, starting from
with someone who has always impressed me like Sylvain Barrier”.
The 27-year-old Frenchman from Oyonnax, is already experienced in the World
SBK championship, and is strongly determined to show his pure talent,
which has been demonstrated in Fim Cup Superstock 1000 with two word
titles. “I have worked on the development of the EVO Superbike” admits BARRIER
wistfully, and says: “I suffered the serious consequences of two accidents which
had happened during difficult moments of my career. The forced break allowed me
to heal completely and find again the positive energy and determination to restart
racing. I will start over from SBK, in a team with a friendly, passionate and professional
atmosphere, where all my needs are listened to and met. We will do great
things with Kawasaki”.
SYLVAIN BARRIER will ride for the first time his Ninja ZX-10R # 20 for a test in
Spain later this year, while it is still under negotiation who will join up with him
to hold the PEDERCINI RACING TEAM flag high.
